Authority §271.102 Tex. Local Gov’t Code. Cooperative Purchasing Program Participation Chapter 271.102, Local Government Code, Subchapter F (a) authorizes local government entities to participate in a cooperative purchasing program with other governments or local cooperative organizations and in doing so (c) the local government entity satisfies state law requiring competitive bidding for the purchase of goods or services.
